A homage to Richard Avedon (1923-2004), the American maker who tied his name and his frames to magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, Vogue and The New Yorker.

A celebrated portraitist, he was among the first fathers of fashion imagery, whose style he overturned when, from 1945, he left static poses behind and placed his models in real settings. His images are almost cinematic and lead the viewer to imagine the tales they seem to evoke. Before his lens passed not only the most famous models of the day but a rich company of actors, dancers, celebrities, artists, musicians and writers.
