Thirteen state museums in Lombardy interpreted by thirteen young Italian artists — Arianna Arcara, Fabio Barile, Claudio Beorchia, Roberto Boccaccino, Alessandro Calabrese, Marina Caneve, Federico Clavarino, Delfino Sisto Legnani, Rachele Maistrello, Caterina Morigi, Flavia Rossi, Alessandro Sambini, Vaste Programme — in a wide project that lasted more than ten months, publicly commissioned and made with the scientific collaboration of the Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea.

Monuments celebrated the world over such as the Cenacolo Vinciano and the Certosa di Pavia; Roman archaeological sites among the most important in Europe, such as the Grotte di Catullo at Sirmione; significant medieval and Renaissance witnesses (the Castello Scaligero at Sirmione, Palazzo Besta at Teglio); and the Valle Camonica of the rock carvings — museums, monuments, palaces and parks that together make up the most visited museum of the region.
