Created in 2021, the award of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation celebrates the extraordinary beauty of the planet and raises awareness of the challenges we face in protecting it. Professional and amateur photographers compete in five categories: Change Makers, Humanity versus Nature, Polar Wonders, Into the Forest and Marine Worlds. The finalists take us on a journey from the polar ice to the secret canopies of the forest.
