Italy, in all its morphological, economic and cultural complexity, is under great change. The exploitation of land, urban growth, depopulation, gentrification, sustainability and new models of economic development are complicated processes already under study. The pandemic on one hand sped up those broad tendencies and on the other brought new needs and made difficulties surface that are still hard to name precisely.
