Born of an idea Euro Rotelli had after reading Paul Auster and meeting the writer in Brooklyn. He takes the reader on an emotional reconnaissance of the city that lasted three years; guided by his own sensibility and by the people in Auster's books, through pictures and a personal diary he portrays the intimate essence of an unconventional New York, the one actually lived by the melting pot of its inhabitants.
