This is the story of a femicide: that of Aude, killed on 24 September 2017 by her partner. She was thirty-four. The pictures by Thierry Ledoux, punctuated with short texts by Louisette Battais, are a testimony and a tribute from the victim's parents. Far more than an ordinary social use of the medium, the book follows a life cut short too soon, and, faced with the atrocious statistics, sets out to campaign for the broadest recognition of these crimes.
