“A lot can happen in a year, or nothing at all. How does the tree outside my window experience time? He seems unchanged after a year, looks exactly the same as before. According to Aristotle, time is a sequence of movement in relation to before and after. This would mean that if he stands still, no time passes for him, and this contradicts the theory of absolute time. Because one day he will no longer be there.”
