Searching for gold, in the figurative sense. As most of the artist's time has for years been occupied with the daily routine centred around his children and family, he is in constant struggle for the freedom to pursue his own work. Using these everyday locations as a stage for acting in front of and behind the camera creates a performance that feels like talking to oneself, and allows him to interact with the pictures in a more physical way. Grabung 1 is about a man digging a hole in the ground; Grabung 2 about digging a hole in a river.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is a digital platform dedicated to independent photobooks, photography publications, design books, and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
