Colette Urbajtel is an author’s book of fifty-two photographs: a testimony to the atypical conversion of a Parisian with brilliant studies in law and political science. Fate or chance, this books reflects the story of a young Frechwoman who arrived in Mexico on a scholarship to do her doctoral thesis in economics, only to encounter photography as part of her everyday existence.

Moved by an irresistible impulse, Colette Urbajtel captures scenes in tranquil places, small events —occasionally amusing or ironical— plants, animals, insects… Colette Urbajtel gathers images chosen by the artist herself, whose work has been exhibited on more than forty occasions around the world.
