Photography has been an excuse, a way of making connections with countless persons, and with time, a fundamental element in Sandra Eleta’s portraits.

As part of the efforts of the Fundación Casa Santa Ana to recover the stories of women artists whose work deserves wider recognition, this monographic volume explores for the first time some fundamental aspects of the life of this important Panamanian photographer, her personal history and the portraits created from it.
