Photographs taken in London between 2008 and 2010 as black-and-white reversal transparencies show the city in twilight, a shadowy place of subway silence reminiscent of Eraserhead, trying unsuccessfully to throw light into the dark corners where people might hide. Printed on tracing paper, the images allow occasional splashes of illumination as patches of spray paint burn through from the page behind; the locations are given in an index, though some images are little more than geometric lines.
