Following on from MÖREL’s live book-making station at Offprint 2023 with Antony Cairns, we have now reprinted the edition for 2025. FREE PLAY is a project about improvisation and spontaneity that aims to demystify the bookmaking process. The publication presents a series of black and white photos taken during the artist’s trip through Japan.

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues.
