Curated by David Campany for the exhibition at the Gallerie d’Italia in Turin, this is the first volume published in Italian to present the work of Jeff Wall in such a comprehensive, in-depth and visually refined way. Born in Vancouver in 1946, Wall has revolutionised photographic language since the late 1970s, blending elements of painting, cinema, critical theory and contemporary visual culture. Campany selects some of the most emblematic images and arranges them into a coherent critical path rich in theoretical and formal references.
