The first monograph by the Italian photographer Marco Pietracupa, a journey through mostly unpublished archive material that presents his shots through unexpected combinations, with the collaboration of Virginia Devoto. Three themes run through it: the forest as a human habitat and a forest of faces and bodies, human constellations and animals laid bare, skin in its many facets; and, alongside them, cool and almost disturbing portraits of technical material. A circle of images that begins and ends with the organic representation of nature, even when it is an artificial nature.
