The first monograph by the photographer Antonio Amato. Its 112 images, whose prints were photocopied and then scanned for offset printing, lead us through the punk scene of Genoa in those years and tell of the habits, gestures and attitude of the people who created it. It is a city after the Red Brigades, terrorism and the 1977 Movement, where the street was a space for socialising and workers' demonstrations but also for clashes. Little testimony survives of a scene so lively, with its bands, meeting places and clubs. A rough, frontal body of work, tender, wild and engaging.
