Ville Palladiane takes shape through details, edges, atmospheres and traces of contemporary life within historic residences designed by Andrea Palladio.

A complex, classical and in some ways obvious theme. A challenge that the students approached with interest, enthusiasm and a touch of genuine naïveté, resulting in a visual narrative that describes the ancient yet at the same time strikingly modern universe of Palladio’s architecture.

Prospettive is a photographic documentation project by the Central Institute for Catalogue and Documentation, curated by Carlo Birrozzi and Alessandro Coco. With this volume, Ville Palladiane, ISIA Urbino contributes to the ICCD project Prospettive, which will see photography students engage with different architectural themes in the coming years.
