Part two in an ongoing series of zines published by Dashwood in which Ahlbom sequences out-of-this-world landscapes with overly saturated portraits of friends met on her travels. Both trial and error are required throughout her process, which uses tinted flashes while shooting and casts acid-trip colours over her prints in the darkroom. She structures the arrangement through hues, patterns and humour: Joe Skilton in London Fields, with hair like David Bowie in The Man Who Fell to Earth, is juxtaposed with surrealist totems to masculinity in an Italian barbershop, and Ahlbom also takes part as a subject for the first time, in a self-portrait with a silver Mustang guitar, paired with Joe Apollonio skateboarding topless on a hot summer day in New York.
