Traînes is a work on memory carried out with the inhabitants of the Communauté de communes of Saint-Jean-Brévelay, in the Morbihan. "As an extension of the fountains, the mills, the wash-houses, the stories; between water, nature and heritage, I poured into these landscapes a long train of a hundred metres of fabric." Between fragility and emotion, Wanda Skonieczny imagined and staged an artistic project around the transmission of memory, in which man, nature and heritage become works of art through photography. At the crossroads of contemporary art and heritage, she developed over several months links with people, nature and heritage, with a respectful concern for the transmission of memory. It is a work built from stagings around the gestures and traditions of the past, in which the inhabitants, who became actors for a moment, take part in the game; the human exchanges with the participants, among them children and elderly people, were of very high quality.
