The Odessa Photographies collective (Benjamin Bechet, Polo Garat, Vincent Lacotte, Marion Lefebvre, Jérôme Navarre) invents an alphabet, sets it in pictures and invites five authors to take up the same words and dialogue with the photographs that correspond to them. The alphabet is devised like an exquisite corpse and then deconstructed, the better to trace the itinerary of a poetic, singular stroll. This picture book was built from words themselves defined from the images: Abandon, Babylone, Chaos, Désert, Éden, Fureur, Grâce, Home, Illusion, Jouer, K.-O., Luxe, Monotone, Neige, Obsession, Passage, Question, Rituel, Soif, Toison, Unique, Vierge, Whaouh, X, Yvette, Zarma. Texts by Magyd Cherfi, Marie Didier, Jean-Hubert Gailliot, Francis Ricard and Olivia Rosenthal.
