Corinne Mercadier chooses celestial roofs and reverses, those bordering the sky along the Cloître's ambulatory, the extrados of the Prêcheurs or the steps of Montmajour: is it a matter of slowness, or more precisely of slow motion? The suspended wing on the Montmajour staircase denies it. Are we at that point of dream where ascension and fall resolve themselves? Yet nothing here indicates the existence of gravity.
