These colour photographs find their reason for being, through effects of echo and resonance, in a serial reading left for the reader to (re)construct, an imaginary montage feeding the thread of a lost story, a kind of mental road movie. The title plays on a double meaning, at once iconographic (a trolley, "desserte") and spatial (a local service, "desserte"), the images composing so many localities, amorous and geographic, served by the gaze, where a white streak on a girl's pink skirt echoes a black crack in an empty mirror frame and answers, pages later, the white line fleeing down a nocturnal motorway.
