An exhibition volume gathering seven artists who treat the archive not as a fixed repository but as a living, contested space. The artists locate archives in the elsewhere, the familial, the obscure, the speculative, and the sonic, challenging linear structures and broadening what an archive can hold. Rather than seeking resolution within existing collections, each artist acts as a kind of conjurer, summoning a presence that was previously unseen but always latent, creating new conduits for storing, inhabiting, and holding time within tenuous boundaries.
