Published in Rome with a text by Gianni Raviele, the volume takes its title from the position its author has always claimed: not the gaze that explains or classifies from above, but one look among the others, taken from inside the life of the places and the people it records. It gathers work from the long enquiry Cresci was conducting in the south, where he had been living and working since 1967.
