NAPOLI, NAPOLI, NAPOLI captures 'a day in Naples', a sunrise-to-sunset excursion that meditates on classicism, the cathartic power of the sea, and the unique influence of the ancient landscape. The photographer's camera does not just hold a mirror to the beauty of Naples, rather, it asks its subjects to see themselves as participating in a process where beauty is continuous with social rhythms that span childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and old age. Special edition includes the book in a slipcase with a signed print. Having first visited Naples in 2010, the artist conceived the project over four consecutive summers, charting a single day in Neapolitan life from Santa Lucia to Marechiaro.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
