A self-published work, intelligent and tightly built, which won the young photographer the Grand Prix Robert Capa. Made after a commission from a brick manufacturer, it moves between documentation and abstraction: taken in brickworks across Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria, the series is marked throughout by the brick as a unit — the module made to the measure of a hand, and of a body.
