After White Night, his first monograph of 2017, Feng Li works with the Chinese publisher Jiazazhi again. The black-and-white pictures gathered here were set aside while the first book was being made, so that it could concentrate on the colour series. Five years later they decided to show them: the same flash-lit encounters in the street, but in a register that had been kept out of sight.
