The album gathers previously unpublished photographs of the last modernist kiosks, found from Ljubljana to Warsaw and from Belgrade to Berlin, which survived the social and political transformation of Central and Eastern Europe at the end of the twentieth century. Some are still in use today or have changed function after renovation; others stand abandoned, slowly disappearing from the urban landscape. The pictures of more than one hundred and fifty kiosks gathered here were taken over the past decade by the founders of Zupagrafika. A prologue and an introduction written by an architecture historian and a reporter give an insight into their history.
