A first book, and an intimate portrait of the house the artist was born in. Through the rooms, the people, the objects and the memories that feed the place, the book becomes a reflection on identity running through the transformation of a space now inhabited only by his mother, and on the dissonance between what the house was and what it is. Little by little it uncovers the emotional currents we build with our homes as adults, and asks us to reconsider family ties, shared plans, and the adjustments that unexpected and unavoidable turns force on us.
