Ethridge moves fluidly between contemporary art, fashion, stock imagery and social media, and has built a place of his own on that visual language. Here, self-published through his own imprint, he runs a series of coloured beach umbrellas against pictures from a fashion shoot and against sunflowers, which is exactly the abstract and particular world his work produces. The umbrellas were photographed at Rockaway Beach.
