The volume is devoted to David Chim Seymour (1911-1956), one of the most legendary reporters of the last century and co-founder of Magnum together with Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Capa.

Born in Warsaw to a well-off family of Polish Jews, he began in Paris in 1933, where he met and befriended Capa and Cartier-Bresson. A humanist intellectual with a passion for politics, he brought that concern to his work.
