Opened in 2004 at Villa Ghirlanda in Cinisello Balsamo, the Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea marks ten years. The only publicly funded museum in Italy devoted to contemporary work with the medium, it is a centre of culture that from its birth has worked on transforming the idea of the medium and the idea of a museum in many directions.

To mark the decade the volume presents a selection of the most telling works and undertakings from those years.
