If every shadow is a little light — the title of the exhibition held with these works — it falls to this maker to undertake an almost archaeological project, aimed at drawing traces, flashes and beams out of a sinister darkness, and tinting the sensors with explosions of photons. The denser the night shadow, the more evident the belief becomes that the sun only comes later. As the author reflects, “it is as if the images reminded us that there is still freshness and seed in what seems to be fading”.
