Some years ago the author's partner fell seriously ill. During the treatment, which lasted more than a year, they walked every day along the seafront promenade of Fuengirola to clear mind and body of the constant tension they were under. The pictures in this book are the fruit of those walks.

The promenade is a place of healing, used by the people of the town and by its many residents.
