Stories of Change celebrates authenticity in visual storytelling, showing north Africa through the eyes of a group of reporters from the region. It challenges our perceptions and brings a local perspective to the foreground.

Through essays produced exclusively for the project and published here for the first time, we are offered an insider's view into the lives of people in a region that has rarely left the news, but which few of us know beyond the one-dimensional headline images flashed on our screens. Many of these are stories that might not otherwise have been recorded, and which bring an insight into the lives of people and the issues they face that we would not otherwise have gained. The book examines what has changed and what has stayed the same since 2010, how people look at the aftermath, and what impact it has had.
