A wide anthological choice from the pictures that Frank Cancian, then a young American researcher and later one of the foremost anthropologists in the world, made in 1957 at Lacedonia. He had arrived there on a Fulbright grant to record daily life in all its aspects: work in the fields, the evening walk in the square, popular and religious custom.
