In 2019, Diaphane photographic center in Hauts-de-France welcomes the Italian photographer Filippo Brancoli Pantera for a creative residency in Beauvaisis. For a month, Filippo will travel the territory and photograph the 53 municipalities of the Beauvaisis conurbation, paying particular attention to the landscapes.

The first approach to the work is devoted to the town centers. In these spaces crossed by the photographer, each house has a story to tell, each facade expresses its belonging to a specific geographical area and to a cultural tradition.

The clay and straw cob alternates with the wooden half-timbering, which itself contrasts with bricks, stones and sheet metal. The walls are an atlas which illustrates the historical diversity of constructions.

The second part links the municipalities together and focuses on the agricultural landscapes which follow one another and form a patchwork of multiple colors which tells the history of local agriculture.
