Eric Bachmann was for over 30 years one of the official photographers of Swiss Television SF DRS. Leutschenbach Karambuli shows not a historically complete pictorial documentation of Swiss television, but pointed glimpses into our Helvetic Babylon: Kurt Felix descending the show staircase, the red Teleboy suitcase, Regina Kempf presenting the “Golden Rose” of Montreux, the contestants sitting in their Plexiglas bubbles, Sepp Trütsch celebrating “Fiirabig” with Lolita Morena in the wedding gondola. It is a pageant of pictures of the especially prominent kind: official portraits and poses of famous quizmasters and beautiful presenters.
