Eingeblaut, the new book by Klaudia Schifferle, gathers a selection of short poems written over the past eighteen years — delicately hovering, virtuosically woven compositions that summon the strange and the wonderful without forgetting what distinguishes the word-images of this unusual artist: her sly charm, her abysmal, indeed cosmic humour, a paradoxical experience of the everyday. Highly musical and poetic, finely dosed word-elixirs for the blue hour. In 1982 Schifferle took part, as the youngest artist, in documenta 7, and was a co-founder of the Zürich punk scene.
