A previously unpublished work by Osamu Kanemura. For over twenty years he insisted on silver-gelatin film, shooting the blocks of the city in monochrome to high acclaim at home and abroad, work for which he received the Ina Nobuo Award in 2014. Lately his practice has shifted toward digital and moving-image works and handmade photobooks, but here he deliberately returns to the origin: a body of silver-gelatin work from the 1990s, cutting out the flowing fragments of Tokyo he once pursued.
