The publication features photos taken by Paolo Caravello in 2006 on the TV series set of I migliori nani della nostra vita (The best midgets of our life). Realized by Daniele Ciprì and Franco Maresco, the authors of the legendary Cinico TV, the series cling to a strong black and white visual language, a documentary and authorial point of view, and unconventional and sarcastic statements regarding society and humankind. Caravello in return captured truly exceptional ‘behind the scene’ moments, accompanying the directors and the protagonists in their desperately useless search of the meaning of life.
