The work “Heaven is a place on earth with you” is a queer punk visual diary with photographs (2017—2021) by the artist Gabriele Alongi. An archive research, “from the drawer”, regardless of technique or aesthetics, intended as a search for beauty. Dwelling on aesthetics, far from philosophy and elegance. An honest aesthetic, lacking in good taste but highly contemporary where the artist manages to make people, objects and places familiar to him communicate and coexist.
