For the past ten years Ukraine has been living with the reality of war. This new reality obscures everything. For the new generation of Ukrainians, Luhansk is an occupied territory that cannot be visited in person and be seen with one’s own eyes. For the refugees from Luhansk, the city froze primarily in the memories of the last pre-war years and months. The 1990’s seem covered by fog. These people will help us preserve the memory of the epoch of the break of the 90’s – confused, lost, and now also forgotten, as if they had never existed. But they did exist, here they are, look at them.
