The French photographer has lived and photographed in Brazil for over ten years. He first turned his lens on the favela of Água Branca in São Paulo where precarious workers live, then decided to go backwards along the long road taken by the favela’s inhabitants, to the source of the exodus in the Amazon, following the migration of people towards the city.
