French photographer Ludovic Carème has lived and worked in Brazil for over ten years. He offers an uncompromising portrait of the country today, focused on São Paulo and on the inhabitants of the Agua Branca favela, poor workers trapped between constant police harassment and the impossibility of finding accommodation. He also documents the moradores da rua, homeless people disappearing on sidewalks among abandoned buildings in the city centre.
