This edition is a revised and simplified version of the book so it goes, awarded the Prix Nadar 2019. In this book, Miho Kajioka presents work related to the concepts of time, memory and place. As in her previous works, the series reveals intuitive images of fragments of her daily life, in different periods. It was while reading Kurt Vonnegut's novel, Slaughterhouse-Five, that Miho Kajioka truly became interested in this subject. Miho Kajioka has long been fascinated by chronology and the meaning of events. According to her, photography captures moments and freezes them; displaying impressions is like playing with the sense of time and getting lost in this chronology.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
