What remains of EXI(S)T, a photographic route through the streets of Brussels emerging from lockdown: 1,000 posters of contemporary Belgian photography exhibited in public space between June and September 2020, in the “one-and-a-half-metre” era. The book gathers the work of more than fifty Belgian photographers who took part in this open-air show organised by La Fabrique des regards. Texts are in French and Dutch.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
