A mental exercise carried out through photography. Filipponi was asked to document the quick changes in a private building in Rome, whose empty rooms, formerly part of different apartments, served as the stage for the twelve-hour art event Art is Real, with twenty-one artists, before becoming the construction site of a new hotel. Discarding any descriptive or narrative intent, he formulates a systematic investigation into the ephemeral nature of things and their representation.
