Photobook dummy by Jasmin Pebal (Austria), shortlisted for the Dummy Award 2026. The book deals with the Austrian entertainer Michael Buchinger and translates his characteristic humour into a visual form through staged photography. It can be seen as a tribute to his artistic work and explores how comedy and stage presence shape his public persona. The pink cloth cover has a die-cut window showing a small photograph of the back of a head with short dark hair, and the book sits in a white padded slipcover. The Dummy Award, organised by the PhotoBookMuseum in Cologne, shortlisted 48 unpublished dummies from about 325 entries from more than 45 countries; the shortlist travels on a world tour of photography events and venues.
