Photobook dummy by Deb Ko (Taiwan), shortlisted for the Dummy Award 2026. The book traces a year of images and poems created after a breakup. It explores how personal loss gradually transforms into a space where memory, healing and imagined love quietly coexist. The translucent white cover carries a pale grey photograph of a calm sea surface, a handwritten red inscription in Chinese characters and the title in small red type, and the pages are stitched with red thread. The Dummy Award, organised by the PhotoBookMuseum in Cologne, shortlisted 48 unpublished dummies from about 325 entries from more than 45 countries; the shortlist travels on a world tour of photography events and venues.
