Photobook dummy by Pha Croissant (Germany and Thailand), shortlisted for the Dummy Award 2026. Soft Power captures the diverse and shared experiences of the Thai diaspora in Germany. The book explores the lives of Thai people in Germany, as well as their connections and memories within and outside the diaspora. The book is covered in an ornate patterned textile in red, orange, purple, black and gold, with a black label carrying the title and the author's name. The Dummy Award, organised by the PhotoBookMuseum in Cologne, shortlisted 48 unpublished dummies from about 325 entries from more than 45 countries; the shortlist travels on a world tour of photography events and venues.
